Hello.

Welcome to Forget Me Not Counselling — a safe, compassionate space where your story matters. Whether you're navigating personal challenges, coping with loss, or seeking emotional balance, I offer a confidential, supportive environment to explore your thoughts and feelings.

Counselling sessions are available in Plymouth from the comfort of your own home, or if you're not local - by telephone, or via Zoom — giving you the freedom to access support in a way that feels right for you. If privacy at home is difficult, I also offer in-person sessions in a welcoming therapy room in Plympton (PL7 area).

You deserve a space where you feel truly valued, heard, and supported. Let's take that first step together on a path that's uniquely yours.

Bereavement

I specialise in bereavement support, helping individuals navigate the challenging emotions that come with loss. Whether you're experiencing shock, change, anxiety, anger, or the complex feelings associated with death—whether expected or sudden—you're not alone. Grief can be a lonely journey, but you don't have to face it alone. Be brave, reach out, and allow me to support you through this difficult time.

Change and Anxiety

Life is made up of change loss and growth but it can be hard to deal with especially if we don't anticipate it or we imagine it will have a different outcome. When life gives us too much change at once we naturally feel anxious.

Lets work together to find your balance !

Relationships

Relationship issues can arise both at home and in the workplace. I provide a supportive environment to explore these challenges and develop healthier connections.

Telephone Counselling

Counselling by telephone is very versatile and can fit well into a busy life style . ..imagine sitting in your car in your work lunchtime or just being at home and not having to cope with the visual input of Zoom ...or maybe you work away from home. Telephone counselling offers you the opportunity to talk in the place that you feel most comfortable.

Dementia

With experience working with individuals living with dementia and their caregivers, I provide specialised counselling to help navigate the emotional landscape of this journey. I have found that Home Visits work well in these circumstances including counselling people living in Care Homes.

I recognise the strains that come with being a carer, whether paid or unpaid. I offer support that acknowledges the emotional and practical challenges you may face.

Consultations.

To ensure we can work together effectively, I offer a complimentary 30-minute initial consultation. This session provides an opportunity to discuss your needs, explore how I can support you, and determine the best way forward. With some basic information, we can establish a good starting point, and I can also guide you to other professionals if needed. Please rest assured that I will not share any information without your permission, unless there is a safeguarding concern.

After the initial consultation, sessions are priced at £35 for telephone or Zoom appointments, and £40 for home visits or sessions held in a therapy room, which covers room hire and travel costs. Concessions may be available depending on individual circumstances.

The number of sessions required varies based on your unique needs. I will tailor my approach and make adjustments based on your feedback throughout our work together.

You have the flexibility to meet in the comfort of your own home or opt for telephone or online consultations, making it convenient to begin your journey toward improved wellbeing.
